UK Scholarships for Excellence 2015-2016: applications now open

Scholarships for Excellence is an excellent opportunity for UCL undergraduate students to spend between a semester and a year studying in Hong Kong as part of their degrees.

UK Scholarships for Excellence 2015-2016: applications now open

It is offered by the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills (BIS) and is worth up to £3,000, depending on how long the recipients stay in Hong Kong.

Students have the chance to experience the vibrant East-West lifestyle of the former British territory and now Special Administrative Region of China, and learn about a region of vital economic and cultural importance to the UK.

Applicants must:

  • be UK passport holders studying undergraduate courses in England
  • be interested in or have already applied for undergraduate study on exchange at one of the universities in Hong Kong
  • have a good academic record with a GPA of at least 3.0 or equivalent.
