Electrical testing work on UCL Bloomsbury campus
17 December 2015
On Monday 4 January and Tuesday 5 January 2016 UCL Estates will be carrying out essential testing of the electrical system across 49 buildings on the UCL Central Bloomsbury campus.
We have updated the timing schedule to reflect feedback received from a number of departments, please see the schedule for timings.
The tests will result in a series of short interruptions to electricity supplies. We expect each interruption to last a maximum of 10 minutes. This essential work will enable us to reduce the risk of unexpected failures in the future and test our standby generators operation.
Work has been scheduled for first two days of the new term to try and minimise disruption. We apologise for any inconvenience you may experience.
