Make Your Future Happen at UCL

Running from 12 - 18 October, the campaign aims to illustrate how higher education can work for anyone, at any age, with the right ability and interest in studying. 

Centrally co-ordinated by BIS, the campaign works closely with universities, colleges and higher education organisations including Universities UK, Student Finance England and the National Careers Service, and in particular focuses on the benefits of part-time study, which is often overlooked by prospective students.

The benefits of studying for a degree are considerable and are wider than the obvious educational value of learning more about a particular subject. UCL's position as London's Global University enables our students to gain a real understanding of complex problems which have a global impact. Furthermore, around 90% of UCL graduates enter work or further study within six months of graduating and our graduates earn around £4,600 more than the national average.¹

Katy Redfern, Head of Access at UCL, said: "UCL has put academic excellence at the centre of its activities since its foundation in 1826. That ethos continues today and UCL encourages all those of the right academic ability to apply to university. The commitments made under our 2014 Access Agreement are intended to ensure that all students who are academically able can enjoy the benefits of studying at UCL without any barrier arising from financial concerns."
