10 May 2013

UCL is a member of the TfL Cycle Safety Ambassadors Scheme, promoting cycle safety around London.

Through the scheme, UCL offers free cycling support to all students and staff. From cycle training to cycle maintenance checks and fun cycling events. The next event is outside the Print Room Café on Tuesday 14 May and Friday 17 May between 11.30am and 3.30pm, offering:
  • basic bike checks, free of charge,
  • student and staff sign up for FREE individual Urban Cycle Training sessions.

This training is a National Standard and is designed to improve the cyclist's confidence and skills riding in an urban environment.

Every trainee who completes a two hour individual session will receive a complimentary D - Lock and set of lights.
