Sarah Douglas Hardship Fund is launched

9 August 2013

By John Braime: Last December, our friend and colleague Sarah Douglas died following a ten month battle with cancer.

SDHF Sarah worked at UCLU between 1988 and 2006 and dedicated her time to improving the welfare of UCL students in many different ways.

She was an inspiring and caring person, who is greatly missed by many, many people. After asking her family how best we might remember her, we have created the Sarah Douglas Hardship Fund to help UCL students overcome temporary hardship problems during their studies.

Please join us to remember Sarah and to launch the Fund on Tuesday 3rd September, from 6 - 8pm, in the UCLU Phineas Bar 3rd floor, UCLU, 25 Gordon Street, WC1H 0AY.

For information about the fund, contact Anna Dodridge at a.dodridge@ucl.ac.uk or see the UCLU website.
