21 May 2012

The Yale UCL Collaborative Student Exchange Programme has been launched to enable UCL doctoral students to undertake a period of research at Yale working under a Yale Supervisor.

This opportunity has been specifically designed to enable UCL doctoral students to experience working in a different academic setting at another world-leading research intensive university and to gather skills that will enhance their current work as well as future personal and professional plans.

Professor David Bogle, Head of the Graduate School, explained: "As part of the Yale UCL Collaborative, the UCL Graduate School has set up with the Yale Graduate School of Arts and Sciences an exchange scheme for research students.  The scheme will enable UCL research students to work with expert supervisors at Yale and Yale students to come to UCL, broadening and deepening their international research experience."

Exchanges will normally be for a period of three months and there are 20 places available to UCL doctoral students on the Scheme.

There are also a limited number of Yale UCL Bursaries available for 2012/13 to cover the additional costs of the exchanges for students whose funder is not able to do so. Further details can be found at the links below.
