The new learning and development opportunities highlighted recently in TheWeek@UCL have now been commissioned and the Term 3 dates are available to book online.

This is in keeping with the UCL HR Organisational & Staff Development (OSD) team mission of providing all staff with access to effective and high-quality professional development.

In response to feedback from colleagues we are offering the following new courses in Term 3. Follow the links for more details and to book a place:

Alongside these new offers we will continue to offer some of our most popular programmes, such as Breakthrough Conversations, Getting the Best out of People, Introduction to Project Management and our Leadership and Management Programme modules.

Where can I find out more?

Full details of each new course, including the course aim and objectives, can be found on the Courses A-Z webpage on the HR OSD website.

How can I book onto a course?

You can also search and book onto a course through the Single Training Booking System. If the course is full, please register your interest, and you will be placed on a waiting list and offered a place on the next available event.

Contacting HR OSD

HR OSD aims to provide staff across the organisation with relevant learning and development opportunities ranging from classroom-based workshops, bite-sized masterclasses and 1-1 coaching, through to online learning via a Desktop Learning Portal and locally tailored development.

This development and support is provided free to all UCL staff, and we work with departments and divisions across UCL to ensure that what we offer provides staff with the knowledge and skills they need to perform effectively.

We are always keen to hear from staff, whether this is feedback on our current programmes or about other learning and development needs that you would like us to support. We would encourage you to give us your feedback by answer 4 questions in this short survey.

Alternatively, if you would prefer to talk to one of the team you can contact the Organisational and Staff Development Consultant for your area. Details can be found on OSD team webpage on the HR OSD website.
