New UCL Neuroscience Domain chair announced

Congratulations to Professor Trevor Smart, Schild Professor of Pharmacology and Head of the Research Department of Neuroscience, Physiology & Pharmacology, who has been appointed the Chair of the Neuroscience Domain.
Professor Smart has been at UCL since 2002, and before that was the Wellcome
Professor at the Department of Pharmacology at The School of Pharmacy,
University of London. Professor Smart was made a Fellow of the Academy of
Medical Sciences in 2006. His vast breadth of experience and previous
engagement with the wider UCL neuroscience community will be of great benefit
in this role.
Professor Smart said: "I'm happy to help develop the Neuroscience Domain."
Outgoing domain chair, Professor Alan Thompson, commented: "I am delighted with Trevor's appointment, and look forward to working with him to deliver the Neuroscience Strategy for UCL."
