Prof Ray Dolan FRS celebrates a double success this week. Not only did the Wellcome Trust Centre for Neuroimaging at UCL, where Prof Dolan is the director, receive a 5-year renewal of its Wellcome Trust grant, but he was also elected as an Einstein Visiting Fellow of the Einstein Foundation Berlin.

This award aims at the long- term integration of top scientists from abroad in Berlin's research and scientific fields and at further strengthening the international profile of Berlin's universities and research facilities. Einstein fellows are intended to become a long-term part of science research in Berlin. In order to meet these requirements, the Einstein Foundation Berlin provides funds of up to 150.000 € p.a. to establish a working group (scientific employees, office assistance etc.); for expense allowance (travel expenses, accommodation) and for material expenses.

Professor Dolan commented "This is a great honour and provides an wonderful opportunity to strengthen existing scientific ties that I have with a variety of colleagues in Berlin, one of the most vibrant and interesting cities in Europe"
