  • UCLTV is now an official channel on YouTube EDU, the section of the video-sharing site that showcases some of the world's best higher education digital content.

UCLTV has had over 90,000 views since UCL Communications began creating and uploading videos last summer, and our monthly viewing figures put us on a par with our world-leading peers. EDU channel status will help raise UCL's profile within YouTube, the most popular online video website in the world.

The UCL channel offers a wide variety of video, each around four minutes long, including mini-lectures by academics on discovering a dinosaur and the neuroscience of laughter, and student-focused features such as UCLU's Go Green Week and UC Opera's Genoveva.

The latest film, available below, focuses on the UCL Museums and Collections exhibition 'A Crucial Difference', which opened in the North Cloisters on 7 April.

Staff and students involved in projects or activities that could lend themselves to visual treatment should contact Rob Eagle in UCL Communications.
