UCL Online Timetable now live
29 September 2009
Personal timetables for UCL students and staff, and the entire UCL common timetable, are now available online at www.ucl.ac.uk/timetable.
The Online Timetable includes all undergraduate teaching and about 70 per cent of masters teaching outside the UCL Medical School. The UCL Medical School has its own online timetable which can be accessed directly or linked to from the Online Timetable.
Students are encouraged to visit the UCL Online Timetable to see their personal timetable or find out when and where classes are taught across UCL before choosing options and electives.
All lectures, tutorials, seminars, laboratories, computer training, film screenings and more are included in the timetable.
Cancellations and room changes are instantly reflected in personal timetables, and users can view the timetable by week, term or year.
Personal timetables for students reflect their module selections in Portico. Once a student confirms their module selections in Portico, their personal timetable is updated overnight. The following day, the timetable displays all the lectures, tutorials, seminars, practicals and more associated with their compulsory and optional modules.
Personal timetables for staff include all their teaching commitments across UCL.
The Custom timetable feature allows students to select modules from any number of departments across UCL to see what the timetable would look like. Selections are saved for students and staff who are logged in.
Department timetables show all the modules taught by a department or subject area for each year of study.
Degree programme timetables display all the compulsory and optional modules for each year of study in a single timetable.
The timetable is always subject to changes due to unforeseen circumstances. Students should check their personal timetable at least once a week.
