UCL Advances is hosting a series of free workshops on the theme of communicating science to business.

They include:

• October 7 - How to engage with business
  

A session to help provide a better understanding of what businesses want from their engagement with academic groups.

• 14 October - Presenting to business: making the most of an event
  

This is for UCL academics working on research projects with potential commercial viability.

• 28 October - How to become a more confident and effective networker

This focuses on networking and business development skills - in particular how to 'work' a room of people.
