UCL Union Volunteering Week

org/services/volunteering-at-uclu" target="_self">The Volunteering Services Unit is organising a week of activities to highlight student volunteering at UCL from Monday 23 - Sunday 30 November.

The events will include:

• Monday 23: UCLU Volunteering Fair
• Tuesday 24: Language & Cultural Day for schools
• Wednesday 25: Project Leader Training
• Thursday 26: Volunteering Drop-In at UCL Careers Service
• Sunday 28: World Aids Day Charity Collection for CARA

John Braime, Volunteering Manager, said: "Volunteering is now firmly established as part of the UCL experience, with the number of students taking part more than doubling in the last two years. UCL volunteers tell us they've learnt new skills and made new friends, and point out that getting involved helps them feel more connected with London. We also recently contacted some of our alumni, who said how volunteering had helped them in their post-UCL careers."
