Ahead of his Lunch Hour Lecture on World AIDS Day (1 December), Professor Deenan Pillay gives a three-minute lecture on the challenges of HIV today.
He describes the progress made in treating HIV in the West, the challenges of delivering treatment in the developing world, and a new direction for prevention, 20 years after the virus entered the public consciousness.
