Supercomputer seminar on UCL Central Access Grid

  • An informal seminar on the UK's national supercomputing service will be transmitted live from Manchester to the UCL Central Access Grid at 3pm on Friday 8 May.

    The Access Grid is a type of video conferencing that allows users to communicate simultaneously with multiple sites around the world.

    It was created for research collaboration, but is also used by UCL staff for meetings, promotional events, seminars, workshops, teaching and distance learning. The Access Grid is based at 66 - 72 Gower Street, Room 205, and is maintained by UCL Media Services.
