Lecture: 'Development Policies for a Changing World'

UCL and the Commonwealth Secretariat will host a lecture titled 'Development Policies for a Changing World' on Tuesday 31 March.

Speakers will include:

  • Ransford Smith, Commonwealth Deputy Secretary General
  • Professor Orazio Attanasio, UCL Economics and Institute of Fiscal Studies' Centre for the Evaluation of Development Policies

The lecture will be chaired by Simon Robinson, Senior Editor at TIME Magazine.

The lecture will be held in the Cruciform Lecture Theatre 1, Cruciform Building, Gower Street. The lecture will begin at 6.30pm and will be followed by a drinks reception at 7.45pm in the South Cloisters, Wilkins Building.

This lecture forms part of an interdisciplinary series on Global Citizenship, organised by UCL and the Commonwealth Secretariat, focusing specifically on debates surrounding global justice, policy and development. The programme forms part of UCL's commitment to address global issues of social, cultural and environmental import across all levels of teaching and research.
