Inaugural lecture: Professor Gandy, 'Borrowed Light: A Journey through Weimar Berlin'

The lecture will explore emerging cultures of nature in Berlin during the 1920s with particular emphasis on the planning and architectural legacy of Martin Wagner and the cinematic representation of everyday life in the film People on Sunday (Menschen am Sonntag, 1929).

A drinks reception will follow at 19.30 in the Geography Exhibition Room (G07), Pearson Building.
