Royal Victorian Order

Dr Joanna Marschner (PhD History of Art 2007): Senior Curator, Kensington Palace

Order of the British Empire (DBE)

Professor Linda Partridge, CBE (Weldon Professor of Biometry, UCL and Director of the UCL Institute of Healthy Ageing) for services to science

Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE)

David Mlinaric (College Certificate in Decoration, UCL Bartlett School of Architecture 1960) for services to interior design and to heritage

Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE)

  • Henry Grunwald QC (UCL Laws LLB 1971; UCL Fellow 2006) for services to the Jewish community and inter-faith relations
  • (Margaret) Fay Mansell (UCL Biochemistry 1966), Chair of the National Federation of Women's Institutes, for services to women
  • Dr Warwick Rodwell (UCL Institute of Archaeology 1971), Visiting Professor at the Department of Archaeology at the University of Reading, for services to ecclesiastical archaeology

Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE)

  • Thomas Gondris (UCL Economics 1953), Chairman of Suffolk Architectural Heritage Trust, for voluntary service to conservation and heritage in Suffolk
  • Alastair MacDonald (Diploma in Photogrammetry 1968, MSc in Photogrammetry 1969), former Director of Surveys and Production at Ordnance Survey, for services to the resolution of boundary disputes in Africa and to cartography more generally
