Creative writing workshop at SSEES

26 January 2009

Tony White, writer in residence at the School of Slavonic and East European Studies (SSEES), will host a creative writing workshop, 'Peachy Coochy', on Wednesday 28 January.

SSEES staff and students will use a presentation format to discuss the challenges of new approaches to writing. The participants will examine whether creative writing can contribute to scholarly research and what kind of writing workshops would benefit the academic community.

The event will take place in Room 347, SSEES, Taviton Street and will run from 4.45pm to 6.00pm. The workshop will be followed by a small wine reception. The event will also include a launch of the new ebook in Tony White's Balkanising Bloomsbury series.

For more information, to propose a talk or workshop, or to talk about writing in general, email Tony White.
