UCL Futures Scholarship launch

2 February 2009

The new UCL Futures Scholarship aims to enable and encourage those who have gained a UCL undergraduate degree to pursue full-time master's degree studies at UCL.

Candidates can be from any country. They must have successfully completed or are currently completing undergraduate degree studies at UCL and must have - by 1 March 2009 (the scholarship application deadline) hold an offer of admission (conditional or unconditional) to a master's degree programme at UCL.

The value of the scholarship is £10,000 towards fees, with any remainder payable as a contribution toward living costs. The scholarship may be held alongside other scholarships, studentships, awards, or bursaries, although the amount of the UCL award may be adjusted depending on the total value of other funds received by the student.

The scholarship is awarded on the basis of academic excellence; however, financial need will also be taken into consideration.

Eligible candidates must apply by 1 March 2009  to be considered for the scholarship for master's study starting in September 2009.
