UCL and China

The UCL Chinese Students and Scholars Association celebrated the end of the Chinese New Year festivities with a variety show, produced in the Edward Lewis theatre in the Windeyer Building, with the expert assistance of the UCL Union Stage Crew Society.

A capacity audience was entertained by a programme of comedy, dance, drama, songs and instrumental numbers all performed by students drawn from across UCL. The show was recorded for transmission in China by Jiangxi TV.

Among the special guests hosted by Professor Xiao Guo (UCL Pro-Provost
for China, Hong Kong and Macau) was Ms Zhu Li,  from the Education Section of China Embassy in UK, who has particular responsibility for student welfare.
