UCL's Chemistry department is organising a series of six 'science soirees' at London schools.
Staff from the department will be visiting classrooms at several London schools to give a short introduction to a topical subject and chair a lively discussion.
The science soirees are aimed at the parents of school children and should provide a forum for a discussion of real-world chemistry in a relaxed adult environment.
The events will be held in National Chemistry Week in November and National Science and Engineering Week in March next year.
