A three-month public consultation process has been launched for the development of the new UCL-sponsored Academy school in Camden. The consultation period, which started on 1 September 2008 and will end on 26 November 2008, includes a public consultation at UCL on 2 October, open to all interested members of the public, including members of the UCL community.

The meeting at UCL will represent an opportunity to discuss the curriculum and ethos of the new Academy school. It will be held from 6.15-8pm in the Chadwick Lecture Theatre at UCL.

Meetings with a range of stakeholder groups, including secondary and primary head teachers, parents of local primary school age children, Chairs of Governors and staff, Learning & Skills Council representatives, and local businesses will also take place during the consultation period.

Details of the consultation process can be found at the UCL Academy website. To visit this website, or for a map of UCL which includes the Chadwick Lecture Theatre, use the links at the top of the article.
