The Body Project

The event will involve discussions, lectures, brainstorming sessions, and collaborative art projects revolving around ideas relating to the body. There will be four lectures on both 12 and 13 May by researchers from the UCL Bartlett School, UCL Philosophy and The Wellcome Trust Centre for the History of Medicine at UCL, among others. Artists at the UCL Slade School of Fine Art will relocate their studio practice to the space for the week. The culmination of the research will be a reception on 15 May, 7-9pm, featuring a wide range of artworks, live performances, experiments, and installations. Refreshments will be available.
