Film screening: 'A City Without Memory'

  • 'A City Without Memory', a documentary by Dr John Dickie (UCL Italian) about the 1908 earthquake and tsunami in Messina, Italy that killed one-third of the city's inhabitants, will be shown at the British Museum on Thursday 7 February.

    The 55-minute film will be followed by a question and answer session led by Dr Eleanor Chiari, also of UCL Italian.

    The screening is at 4pm in The Stevenson Theatre, part of the Clore Educational Centre of the British Museum. Entry is free.
