Multiple Belongings: Nomadic Subjects?

Professor Rosi Braidotti, Distinguished Professor at Utrecht University and Director of The Netherlands Research School of Women's Studies, will deliver a public lecture entitled 'Multiple Belongings: Nomadic Subjects?' at UCL on 9 November 2007.

Professor Braidotti is the author of numerous publications, including the seminal work on nomadic subjectivities 'Nomadic Subjects: Embodiment and Sexual Difference in Contemporary Feminist Theory'.

The UCL Faculty of Arts & Humanities, UCL Centre for Intercultural Studies and UCL Centre for European Studies have organised the lecture, which will be the closing plenary session of 'Not of This Place': Migration and its Memory, a seminar taking place 8-9 November addressing migration, mobility and diaspora today.

The lecture is at 2.30pm on Friday 9 November in Malet Place Engineering Building, Room 1.02. It will be followed by a reception, 4-5pm.
