International Development Research Event

24 May 2007

UCL academics and PhD students researching subjects relevant to the progression of developing countries are invited to attend an event on 30 May focusing on international development research carried out within UCL.

The aim of the event is to provide a forum where experts from all faculties will be able to share their research with one another.

The value of interdisciplinary approaches to successful development-focused initiatives is recognised by the government and research councils and is often a pre-requisite to development research proposals.

The event will also provide a means through which researchers can discuss UCL's role in international development research in a cohesive and strategic manner.

The event is informal and will be held on Wednesday 30 May from 3-5pm in the downstairs foyer of the Chadwick Building on Gower Street.
