Death in the Cloisters

15 May 2007

UCL Museum Studies MA students have launched 'Death in the Cloisters', a year-long exhibition exploring the two themes of 'Death by Design' and 'Collecting the Dead'.

Using objects from the UCL Museums and Collections, the exhibition confronts issues such as the human hand in death and the ethics of collecting the dead.

The exhibition is in the North Cloisters and North Junction, Wilkins Building, Gower Street.  It is open Monday to Friday (9am - 5pm) and weekends (10am - 4pm).

The exhibition is free and children are welcomed.
