New Deputy Director of the Institute of Hepatology at UCL

Professor William Rosenberg has been appointed as the Richard Cristin Chair in Hepatology and Deputy Director of the Institute of Hepatology at UCL, with effect from 1 October 2007.
Professor Rosenberg comes to UCL from the University of Southhampton's School of Medicine, where he is Professor of Hepatology and Director of the Wellcome Trust Clinical Research Facility. He is also Associate Director of UKCRN for Experimental Medicine.
Professor Rosenberg will bring with him considerable clinical and research expertise and will lead the Viral Hepatitis Research Group within the institute.
Professor Rosenberg said: "I am delighted to be joining such a prestigious institute in one of the world's leading universities."
