The film focused on the social exclusion of people living in Britain who are originally from the Horn of Africa - a region including Eritrea, Ethiopia and Somalia - and the potential for their radicalisation. All four thwarted 21 July bombers were born in the Horn of Africa.

In the film, Sada - who is originally from Somalia - points out that people from the Horn of Africa form one of the oldest African communities in London, although most arrived as refugees in the UK in the 1990s to escape the wars that have ravaged the region for the past thirty years. She conducted a number of interviews to explore whether the destitution and isolation of these refugees make them vulnerable to radicalisation.

"The topic relates to my research interests: cultural heritage and social exclusion," Sada said.

The film follows a number of articles Sada has written for specialist publications on African culture, history and social issues in the diaspora. She hopes to engage with the media further to create debate and research on social issues relating to identity, migration, history and heritage in today's Britain and the wider world.
