Abbey Research & Collaboration Awards

Earlier this year, UCL signed an agreement with Abbey that includes UCL in the network of universities supported by Banco Santander.

As part of this agreement, Abbey is generously supporting a number of awards and scholarships at UCL.

The Abbey Research & Collaboration Awards have been created to support UCL academic staff and graduate research students in carrying out research in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Spain, Uruguay and Venezuela, and to foster collaboration between UCL and other universities within the Santander network. £15,000 will be available each year, and the maximum value of any award will be £5000.

Applications are now invited for the first round of awards, and the deadline for submissions is 1st August 2007. Full details of the awards including the countries in which they are tenable, the activities supported.
