FameLab call for entries: do you love talking about science and technology?

An annual competition to find people with a talent for communicating science and technology to the public, the London regional heat for FameLab will be held on 6 March 2007.

Here you can come along and give a three minute presentation on a scientific subject of your choice. There will then be a regional final at each of the events, and if you get through you will need to give a different three-minute presentation.

And would-be participants may be heartened to learn that three out of the ten of last year's finalists in Famelab were from the UCL community.

The 2007 winner will win £2,000, a two-week internship with Channel 4 and a host of speaking engagements.
