Great Briton shortlist

Link: 20th Nobel Prize for UCL community 2007 Nobel Laureate Professor Sir Martin Evans (PhD UCL Anatomy & Developmental Biology 1969) has been shortlisted for the 'Daily Telegraph' Morgan Stanley Great Britons 2007.

Professor Evans is Director of the School of Biosciences and Professor of Mammalian Genetics at Cardiff University. He has been described as "the father of stem cell research" and one of "10 Britons who have shaped our world".

His 2007 Nobel Prize for Physiology or Medicine made him the 20th Nobel Laureate among the UCL community of current and former staff and students.
