New global health and development programme

19 April 2007

A new global health and development programme (with the option of a disability pathway) at the UCL Institute of Child Health's Centre for International Health & Development (CIHD) will begin in September 2007.

The MSc/postgraduate diploma/postgraduate certificate programme will reflect the expertise of the CIHD - formerly the Centre for International Child Health - by incorporating a development-based approach to international health with a disability focus.

Designed for experienced health professionals and managers working in the area of international child health, development and disability, the programme aims to equip participants with the skills, knowledge and principles to manage effective international and community-based programmes in developing countries and resource-poor conditions.
