Audio recording: Sectarian Violence and Small Groups

12 April 2007

You can now listen to an audio recording of 'Seeing Everything in Black and White: the Origins of Sectarian Violence and the Problems of Small Groups' a lecture delivered by Professor Dame Mary Douglas at UCL in April.

Professor Douglas is one of the world's most eminent social scientists and anthropologists, known for her writings on human culture and symbolism. Now an honorary fellow of UCL, she is regarded as laying the foundations of the study of anthropology at the university.

The event was jointly organised by UCL and The Young Foundation.
