Research and live in Japan

23 October 2006

Representatives from the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) will be giving a presentation on Thursday 26 October, outlining the opportunities available to postdoctoral researchers and PhD students to work in Japan.

The JSPS is a research-funding agency that provides fellowships to young scientists with the aim of fostering an expansion of academic exchange between Japan and the UK. Researchers awarded the fellowships gain first-hand experience of the research environment and lifestyle Japan has to offer. The fellowships are open to all disciplines except medical sciences.

The presentation will be held in the Garden room, in the main campus, at 5pm.
