UCL Expedition Grants deadline approaching

UCL Expedition Grants are awarded each year to allow students to undertake challenging team exploration and travel. Funds are awarded to expeditions in which a group of UCL students are required to employ organisational skills and initiative in challenging circumstances. Recent examples of student expeditions have included researching recipes in French Polynesia, cycling the Nile valley from Aswan to Cairo, and trekking the Old Silk Road in Kyrgyzstan.

Anyone thinking of making an application is invited to an evening seminar on Tuesday 21 November, where past recipients will talk about their experiences over a free glass of wine. The event will take place in the Wilkins Old Refectory from 5.30pm.
