International award for excellence in design

25 May 2006

The UCL Slade School of Fine Art has won an iF communication design award 2006 for its print communication materials.

This year the competition, which is regarded as one of the most important design awards worldwide, attracted 1,240 entries from 23 countries, competing in a variety of disciplines including print and digital media, architecture and public spaces.

"This award vindicates the way the Slade projects itself to the world in a clear, individual and high-quality way that engages people," said John Aiken, Director of the UCL Slade School of Fine Art.
