Research Computing holds 'Summer Expo'

19 June 2006

A half-day 'Summer Expo' will be held on Friday 30 June 2006 at UCL to showcase the variety of research made possible by the university's Research Computing services.

The relevance of high-end computing within arts and humanities will be demonstrated, alongside sessions on scientific applications, such as imaging brain connectivity. Current key initiatives will be reviewed, and delegates will receive a preview of the next generation systems that will arrive at UCL next year.

The event will run 12.30-5pm, opening with lunch and closing with a drinks reception. Attendance is free but ticketed.
