Careers in Research Staff online survey

The 2005 Careers in Research Staff Online Survey is taking place until 25 March 2005 and Contract Research Staff (CRS) within UCL have been invited to complete the survey.

The same survey was run in 23 universities in 2004. Those organisations taking part in 2005 will be able to track changes in attitudes and views over the last year and to evaluate the impact of positive actions that have been taken.

The purpose of the survey is to provide factual information to participating universities relating to CRS employment, training, career development, supervision, and communication processes. Within UCL the results of the survey will be discussed by the CRS Working Group, which meets regularly to discuss issues of concerns to research staff.

Funding for this survey comes from the Higher Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE).
