Campaign Laws launch

The Faculty of Laws launched the Campaign for UCL to Laws alumni and friends in January 2005.

Lord Woolf and Professor Grant At an evening event in Middle Temple Hall, Professor Michael Bridge, the faculty's dean, discussed the exciting new plans for the department, including an International Institute for Rights & Justice, and two new professorial chairs, one in intellectual property and one in Chinese law.

The event was hosted by Lord Woolf (Laws 1954; Fellow of UCL 1981; Vice-Chair of UCL Council) and Professor Grant, and guests included many eminent figures in British law, and, reflecting the global nature of the Campaign, the High Commissioners of Canada, India and New Zealand.
