Development develops

UCL's Development Office has been renamed the Development & Corporate Communications Office.

This reflects its restructuring last year under the main headings of: Alumni Relations & Individual Giving; Corporate Relations; and fundraising for Major Projects.

The office's mission is to empower UCL to attain its strategic goals by building productive, mutually beneficial relationships between the university and an international network of stakeholder groups, including: alumni, parents, students and staff; the corporate sector (charitable, commercial and professional); and international organisations, governments and their agencies.

Dr Alisdaire Lockhart, Director of Development & Corporate Communications, said: "We look forward to continuing to work closely with our UCL colleagues to fulfil the university's long-term aims, including the elevation of its reputation and the encouragement of investment in its academic community."
