St Peter's Trust sponsored walk

25 August 2004

St Peter's Trust are holding a sponsored walk on 19 September in North London to support the work of UCL's Institute of Urology & Nephrology and St Peter's Hospital at the Middlesex Hospital.

The trust funds life-saving and life-enhancing research into kidney, bladder and prostate problems, carried out collaboratively at the two institutions. In the past, walks have attracted over 100 participants and the event has raised up to £16,000.

This year's walk will be held in Trent Park, North London, one of the few surviving remnants of the royal hunting forest of Enfield Chase. There will be several routes of varying length to suit all levels, from small children to seasoned enthusiasts. The walks are all circular and there will be a picnic area where the walkers can recover after their exertions.
