Inside the future of China
22 July 2003
The lecture 'China: Between Economic Metamorphosis and Political Continuity' will be delivered at UCL by Professor Jonathan Story (INSEAD) on 23 July 2003.
China's economy is expected to become the world's largest within a few decades, and this growth is creating both opportunity and alarm for western businesses. Professor Story's understanding of the forces shaping China's future can provide guidance for business operations in this complex and dynamic environment.
The lecture is co-hosted by UCL's School of Public Policy and its China Office. That office's primary aims are to forge strong links with China's top universities, to help train some of the nation's future public-service, commercial and academic leaders, and to support policy-oriented research in China.
