CNIE PhD Student Lucy Todd's poster wins first place at the AIChE 2024 conference in San Diego

Lucy Todd, PhD student in UCL CNIE, was honoured to have her poster “Building 3D Voronoi Scaffolds” awarded first place at the 2024 AIChE conference in San Diego this past month. Both her poster submissions were among the 17 semi-finalist selected from the 190 submissions. This is the third award this specific poster has achieved and she was honoured to have it be so well received at such a prestigious conference.

Lucy Todd was also honoured to place 3rd in the AiChE 8B Graduate Student Award session where her talk, “Time for a new home? Nature Inspired 3D scaffolds to improve cell culturing environments for cancer immunotherapy” sparked great interest.
