CNIE PhD Students (NICE and Lan Groups) plus Alumni

The groups are headed by Prof Marc-Olivier Coppens and Dr Yang Lan, and are based at UCL Department of Chemical Engineering. Both groups' research philosophy is to learn from nature and biology in the development of sustainable chemical processes, materials and devices. Hypothesis-driven research on fundamental principles is merged with technologically, application oriented research. The overarching aim is to address grand challenges in health, environment and sustainability.
