Dr Ali Mozaffari

Ali Mozaffari is an Associate Professor the Admissions Tutor on the Natural Sciences programme, having joined UCL in January 2017.  A theoretical physicist by training, he has a research background in gravitational and cosmological physics and is interested in the relationship between the analogue physics of the very biggest and very smallest scales and what we may learn about nature in this multi-modal approach.  He also has interests in educational pedagogy, science communication and outreach and developing interdisciplinary networks between staff and students.  In his spare time he enjoys the London culture scene, whether it's checking our galleries and museums, going to concerts, taking in a theatre show or going to the cinema regularly.
