The Cure CJD Campaign

Who are we?

We are a group of people who have been affected by CJD and united around a common desire to do something in the wake of our experience.  Our primary objective is to raise funds to support the world leading research taking place at the Medical Research Council Prion Unit at University College London in their quest to find a viable treatment for this devastating disease.  The Cure CJD Campaign was born in 2016.

Progress so far

Since the Campaign was started in 2016 half a million pounds has been raised but this is a drop in the ocean compared to what is needed to make real impact.  Our commitment is as strong as the commitment of those staff at the MRC Prion Unit at UCL and we will continue to support the unit for as long as it takes.
