Biography
Wei Huang is a PhD student of Mechanical Engineering at University College London. He joined UCL in September 2020. Before that, he received his master's degree in Vehicle Engineering from Beihang University in China.
Research Summary
Wei Huang's research deals with the structural and functional (performance) characterization of advanced materials and structures across a wide range of areas. His research is pursued by applying experimental and theoretical methods. He is particularly interested in understanding how multi-functional materials (composites with self-healing properties) and structures (lattices, adhesive joints, etc.) respond to various loadings.
