Islamic Period Pottery: UC 25409

Finely made, partially glazed dish with foot ring, curved walls and sgraffiato decoration. Has been mended, but there are still some associated fragments. Cream slip under transparent glaze, with green edge, four semi circular lines and '2' in centre. Incised design has two lines just below rim, then four semicircular lines and circular blazon in centre. Exterior: slip and glaze reach almost half way. Green rim extends to exterior. Orange smooth body fabric.
